Detailed explanations on software functionalities related to requisition creation and approval are given in the
User’s Manual available in Task Assistant

.
The following rules detail information type and quality, which any Task Assistant
TM
User
shall
provide when
creating and approving a requisition.
In case of non-compliance to the rules, requisition will be rejected or cancelled.
Requisitions for Planned Maintenance Period (PMP i.e. class docking period)
shall
be managed complying
with instructions “B-MI-2012-018 - Purchasing Process” for PMP Docking Pack by BDO for and on behalf BB
and “B-MI -2013-004 - PR creation for PMP” in Task Assistant.
Spares, stores and consumables, service and generic stores
shall
not be mixed in the same requisition.

General rules for spares requisition:
o
Definition: All items used for planned maintenance, replacement on the equipment in case of
breakdown and required to ensure safe running of the vessel and her equipments.
o
One requisition
shall
be issued for one component or one group of components from the
same maker.
o
For some equipments (i.e. components such as bearing, pressure switch, seal,…) if the
original reference is available on the part itself, a comment
shall
be added in the general
comments field (see explanation hereafter).
o
Any spare not available in TA,
shall
be created as per instruction “B-INS-10.0001-rev.00 -
Task Assistant Create New Spare Parts”.
