2014
IN GENNEVILLIERS
In 2014, our historic plant in Gennevilliers, near Paris, celebrated its
100th birthday.
After surviving two world wars, the plant is now one of our
centers of excellence, dedicated to specialty graphite solutions. To mark the
occasion, former employees and local elected officials joined with management
and employees in a ceremony on the plant’s grounds.
100 years
In 2014, Mersen acquired Cirprotec, a leading
provider of lightning and surge protection
devices based near Barcelona, Spain.
The
transaction has expanded our position in a segment
with attractive growth prospects led by the ongoing
improvements in power quality and safety.
